How do you make a tenancy contract in Dubai? Use the official DLD Unified Tenancy Contract form — Ejari rejects any other format — fill in the lessor, tenant, property and rent details, sign both parties, then register it with Ejari for AED 177.75. After the contract: Ejari registration

The signed contract is not the finish line — Dubai law requires it to be registered with Ejari before DEWA, visas or dispute filings will work. Registration is done in the Dubai REST app for AED 177.75 and takes about 10 minutes; the certificate usually arrives the same day.
